Reviewer: hughonabike from Near Cordoba, Spain  For those interested in Fat bikes or "The Fatness, The Fatness", this review's for you. Q; Why do you need a Fat bike? A: You don't need a Fat bike, you WANT one ! I saw the Pugsley fist time in Key West, Florida. The bike shop guy was clearly a fan and we got to talkin'.........."YOU NEED THIS BIKE, BUY IT", HE SAID........Upshot was I spent me 'oliday munny on a PUG.......All of it. That was 5 years ago, and I'm still riding it. I love riding this bike and I'll tell you why! "IT'S FUN" Of all the bikes I own (a few) it's the one I ride the most. As long as I have the puff, the legs and the talent, it will go anywhere.. It's extremely comfortable and stable and I feel confident going most places except black runs. I struggle on black runs, even on my Coiler I struggle on black runs........I don't do black runs.... It's no light weight, so if your anal about weight read no further but if your one of us "normal" folks your in for a surprise at how easy it is to pedal, it doesn't feel heavy and it's surprisingly fast! Best thing is to try and get a test ride. AND NOW they got these Black Floyd tyres available ! With these babies on, the PUG will haul ass on the road. Pot holes, what potholes!! Let me sum it up. If I had to have just one bike it be a Pug, It's brilliant, so get one...............But wait till you see the MOONLANDER!.........That looks to be TOO awesome......I'm tempted, very tempted...I NEED............. « Back |
