• The hubs cost about £250 rear and £120 front, so you get £370 of hubs on a £399 wheels set!
• The hubs are amazing, when you freewheel the pawls (hooky flappy bits in the ratchet mechanism) move out of the way, rather than click down on each ratchet... How about that for an extreme way of reducing freewheel friction? Have a look at teh cutaway picture of the hub internals.

Please note the picture is not quite right. The words "tubeless" are not on these wheels. But otherwise they are the same.

There are not many options for nice complete 29er wheels. So we had a word with the nice chaps at Halo and they have made these especially for us, and you.

You get some very nice damned light XC disc hubs with sealed cartridge bearings, built on to the great Halo Aerowarrior rims, with black double butted spokes.  All made lovingly by hand.  Giving you a great wheelset that not only weighs very little, but can also handle real world XC use.
