I am serious about all of the above.
To illustrate the dirty pernicious genius behind this... I bumped in to the so called editor (if this is the crap he leaves in, what does he edit out?) at a race and asked when the next issue was coming out, his reply "when single speeding completely disappears up its own arse". Which turned out to be about two weeks later. It’s packed full or the jaded tied complaining that middle-aged single speeders are so good at.
This 'zine goes all the way back to when the national single speed championships was 20 blokes in a field with beer and fire. Bikes all bodged together using all sorts to crap (mine involved a spatula). Only half the bikes would finish a race. We were young, dirty, drunk, and damned handsome. We did not know we were on the brink of a cycling revolution. And this mag serves as reminded to a bygone age of one speed innocence, before carbon, fixies, and lycra skinsuits.
