Bikemonger's Deluxe Complete Kit

Just like the other kit but with a FSA chainring...

Everything you need in one convenient kit. All of the components in this kit are tried and tested by me, and the ideal gear for starting a life with no gears (?). You save a few quid too.

Use any shimano style 7, 8 or 9 speed hub, and any 4 arm chainset.

... and you get:

  1. CHAINRING: 36T or 42T.. Quality alloy one-speed specific ring from FSA.  4 arm 104 bcd, 36t - Giving you a 36:18 ratio for offroad mountainbikes, and 36:16 if you are fitter. Or 42:18 or 42:18 for road and gravel tracks etc.
  2. TENSIONER: A nice copy of the surly chain tensioner to take the slack out of your chain (great quality and reliable sprung tensioner, ideal for road and mountainbikes).
  3. CHAIN: A nice KMC Z610hx singlespeed chain.
  4. COGS & SPACERS: Spacers and two cogs, a 16 tooth and 18 tooth, so finding the right ratio is a breeze. Lockring included too.
  5. CHAINRING BOLTS: A pack of five top quality skinny and strong cromo bolts so that you can clamp just one of your rings to your cranks.
  6. STICKERS: Charlie The Bikemonger one speed slogan sticker. The slogan varies but they are all cool: NO Britneys (its cockney rhyming), One Less car, More beers than gears etc...

We also have a bundle of one speed tools with everything you need to fit this (except for allen keys which you probably already have)

36t or 42t Ring?
